Dim Sum (點心) literally means "touch your heart". It is comparable to the English "High Tea" or the Spanish "Tapas". Full Moon serves 80 freshly made dim sum including steamed and fried dumplings, pancakes, sandwiches, roasted meat, noodle soup, and fried rice and noodles. The history of Yum Cha (drinking tea) originated when travelers along the old silk route needed a place to rest. Later, the local tea houses also served small snacks. The unique culinary tradition of Dim Sum originally comes from the province of Canton in southern China. Yum Cha has turned into an extensive and enjoyable lunch experience that is considered a weekend activity for the entire family.
